Wheels will be rolling on Ocean Isle Beach for Paws-Ability’s Second Annual Bicycle Poker Run to benefit animals this coming Sunday, Oct. 7.
Check-in is at 1 p.m. at the Ocean Isle Inn, 37 W. First St. The fee is $25 per rider.
Those who are unable to ride a bicycle may participate in street-legal golf carts.
There will be on-island stops to draw playing cards and end at the Ocean Isle Inn for burgers, hot dogs, music and fun.
Participants do not need to know how to play poker. There will be great prizes for the winning hand and the worst hand.
Pre-registration required. Registration will close upon reaching 200 riders. The rain date is Oct. 14.

Proceeds will benefit animal shelters and rescue groups of Brunswick County.
