Shallotte Crime Report

The Shallotte Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests last week. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.

•Larceny of a lawnmower from 809 Kimberly Ann Lane; a push mower loaned to a tenant was removed from the property when the residence was vacated.

•Lost wallet from the Walmart parking lot; victim may have dropped his wallet while pulling his keys out of his pocket in the parking lot.

•Larceny of medication at Birch Pond Apartments; two oxycodone acetaminophen and eight Hydroco Apap7.5-325 tabs were discovered missing from an apartment at Birch Pond.

•Obtaining property by false pretense by using victim’s Walmart card fraudulently; the victim’s card was used at Walmart to purchase $334.14.

•Vandalism by suspect spinning tires in victim’s yard on Creek Drive; suspect was angry about a civil matter stating that the victim owed him money and spun his tires in the victim’s yard ripping up sod and spinning mud all over Christmas decorations that were on the mailbox.

•Vandalism of a bathroom mirror at the Scotchman on Whiteville Road NW; the reporting party advised when he went to clean the men’s restroom he noticed what appeared to be gang-related writing on the bathroom walls and mirror.
