Shallotte police charged the following people and investigated the following incidents last week. All information is taken directly from police reports.
•Joshua Matthew Potter, 27, of Holden Beach Road, Supply; charged with being drunk and disruptive at the Lowes Foods parking lot. A patrolman was dispatched to the store in reference to an intoxicated driver. He found Potter unresponsive in the back seat. When he finally woke him up, Potter was being rude and started to yell and curse. He was placed in the Brunswick County Detention Center on a $500 secured bond.
