The Shallotte Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests last week. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.

The Shallotte Police Department office is closed to the public while the building undergoes renovations. Anyone wishing to speak to an officer or obtain a copy of a police report must go to the Southend Task Force building at 130 Cheers St. The number to reach the police department is 754-6008.

•Larceny of currency, vandalism and breaking and entering on Whiteville Road; suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took money out of the seat.

•Possession of schedule II, schedule IV and drug paraphernalia on Wildwood Street; suspect was in possession of unauthorized or non-prescribed medications.

•Aimee Renee Moree, 26, of 210 Wildwood Road, Shallotte, was charged with possession of schedule II, schedule IV and drug paraphernalia.

•Breaking and entering and larceny of a money order and cell phone at Birch Pond Apartments; suspect entered victim’s residence and removed items.

•Obtaining property by false pretense on Village Road; suspect was collecting money fraudulently.

•Stuart Edwin Cleveland, 77, of 911 Palmer Drive, Carolina Shores, was charged with assault on a handicapped person in the McDonald’s parking lot.

•Larceny at Walmart; suspect attempted to take two LCD TVs without paying for them.
