Shallotte Crime Report

The Shallotte Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.

Daz’jon J-M Tutson, 17, 45 Brooks Court, Shallotte, was charged with breaking and entering.

Antuan Lanier Miller, 18, 128 Forest Drive, Shallotte, charged with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

Breaking and entering and larceny on Hawick Drive; suspect removed items from an unlocked vehicle.

Communicating threats at Tienda Tropicana.

Bobbi Lyn Davis, 41, 2371 Captain’s Wheel Ave., Supply, charged with shoplifting, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alex Alterick Hamilton, 19, 1124 Whiteville Road, Shallotte, charged with driving without a license, fictitious registration tags and possession of less than half-ounce of marijuana.

Larceny of a bicycle on Owendon Drive.

Larceny of a laptop and books on Whiteville Road; victim’s backpack was stolen.

Breaking and entering and larceny of a laptop in the Hill’s parking lot on Main Street.

Child neglect at Dollar General on Main Street; juveniles were left unattended in a shopping cart in the parking lot of the store.

Harassing telephone calls on Highlands Glen Drive; suspect repeatedly called victim.

Vandalism by spray-painting building on Country Club Drive.

Vandalism by spray-painting a hole marker on the 14th hole in Brierwood Golf Course.

Zachary Adam Kirst, 31, of 16 Gate 5, Carolina Shores, charged with failure to appear for a DWI and failure to appear for an open container.

Shoplifting at Walmart; suspect took a Barbie Castle, eight sets of blinds, a doll, a woven rug and other items.

Larceny in the Walmart parking lot; suspect attempted to steal Salvation Army kettle. Melanie Hope Hunt, 45, shoplifting and failure to appear on larceny.
