Shallotte Crime Report

The Shallotte Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests last week. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.

 

Dec. 13

Shoplifting at Walmart; suspect stacked dog food and diapers in a cart and left the store.

Property damage in the Bojangles parking lot by opening a car door and hitting another vehicle.

Larceny at Walmart; suspect took a TV from the store before fleeing on foot.

 

Dec. 14

Robert Neal Kelly, 50, 4344 Rounding Run Road, Shallotte, charged with felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and simple worthless check.

 

Dec. 15

Breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle on Whiteville Road; suspect took a subwoofer and $3 from a vehicle.

Crystal Dawn Hoostal, 37, 1357 Hale Swamp Road, Shallotte, charged with larceny and trespassing.

Ashley Nicole Helms, 33, 2366 Longwood Road, Ash, charged with larceny.

 

Dec. 16

Thomas Alexander Johnson, 18, 913 Mount Pisgah Road, Supply, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Dec. 17

Jamey Dashaun Lewis, 21, 641 Long Acres Drive, Longs, S.C., charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless driving. Lewis was stopped after evading a driver’s license checkpoint.

Obtaining property by false pretense at Walmart; suspect took items and attempted to return them.

Jennifer Nicole Bartley, 23, 3606 Shell Point Road, Shallotte, charged with possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Dec. 19

Breaking and entering on Village Road; suspect used a screwdriver and attempted to pry open the door to the victim’s residence.

Larceny and possession of a firearm by a felon on Country Club Drive; suspect took a gun from the victim’s gun box.

Timothy Mitchell Stephens II, 19, 2445 Kirby Road SW, Supply, arrested on an order for arrest after being stopped for a seat belt violation.
