SHALLOTTE CRIME REPORT

Shallotte police charged the following people and investigated the following incidents last week. All information is taken directly from police reports.

•Police charged Jamie Keelan Oxendine, 22, of 181 Cumbee Road, Supply, with breaking and entering, two counts of larceny and auto larceny. He was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center and placed on a $100,000 unsecured bond.

•Police charged Anzehelika Viktorovna Goroshko, 24, of 2796 Evans Circle SW, Shallotte with larceny by employee-embezzlement for selling fraudulent gift cards at Belk of Shallotte, where she worked as a sales clerk, resulting in a loss of $319.94. She was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center.

•Police charged Brittany Loren Edge, 20, of 4479 Ocean Pines St., SW, Shallotte, with shoplifting, injury to personal property and larceny. The reporting officer found Edge in possession of stolen property from Belk. She had active outstanding warrants. She was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center and placed on a $2,000 secured bond.

•Police charged Royce Allen Beasley, 35, of 1530 Civietown Road, Shallotte, with driving while impaired, consuming while driving and failure to stop or blue lights and siren. He was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center and placed on a $1,000 secured bond.

•Obtaining property by false pretenses at Britt’s Jewelers; suspect wrote worthless checks for jewelry valued at $7,441.59.

•Auto larceny on Paisley Drive; suspect took victim’s keys and left in her vehicle.

•Breaking and entering and vandalism on Main Street; three suspects entered building by prying the doors open.

•Larceny of purse at Walmart; victim reported losing a purse containing $500 worth of Oxycontin and $65 worth of Klonopin.

•Larceny of money at Sunset Café; suspect removed money from victim’s purse in the break room.

•Larceny of medication at Walmart; suspect picked up victim’s medication without permission.

•Vandalism/property damage on Arnold Street; suspect threw rock at victim’s bedroom window, causing $200 in damage.

•Identity theft on Cedar Ridge Street; suspect registered victim on a singles Web site.
