Shallotte Police made the following arrests and investigated the following incidents last week:
•Police charged Christian S. Smith, 20, of 114 Dolphin St., Holden Beach, with driving while impaired on Bridgers Road. She was taken to Brunswick County Detention Center.
•Police charged Camelia Roxanne Frink, 20, of 1632 Longwood Road, Longwood, with disorderly conduct in the CVS parking lot. When the pharmacy refused to give Frink her medication, she refused to leave. Employees called the police to remove her, and she started cursing and yelling and threatening the officer. She was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center and placed on a $5,000 secured bond.
•Vandalism at Ocean City Chevrolet; suspects shot 16 vehicles with yellow and orange paint balls. The person who reported the incident said if the paint didn’t come off, the damages totaled $36,000. If the paint were removable, it would cost about $1,800 to remove it.
•Vandalism on Hawick Drive; two unknown dogs killed the victim’s cat.
•Embezzlement/larceny by employee and vandalism at Scotchman’s on Whiteville Road; suspect used the company’s machine to reload a credit card she had not purchased, then dumped a cup of water onto the machine in an attempt to destroy evidence.
•Forgery at Chili’s Restaurant; suspect left his credit card at Chili’s, and his number was used to make $581 in charges to 1-800-FLOWERS.
•Forgery of prescription at Coastal Drug Store; suspect presented a forged prescription for filling.
•Forgery and uttering at Waccamaw Bank; suspect stole victim’s banking information and cashed a $700 check.
•Identity theft at GoGas, Bath and Body Works and Lowe’s Food; suspect used the victim’s credit card to purchase items totaling $87.01 at the three locations.
•Breaking and entering on Kimberly Ann Lane; suspect went into the victim’s bedroom window.
•Larceny of floor mat at Minuteman Express; the night shift crew put the floor mat outside to mop the floor. When they returned, it was gone.
