Shallotte crime report

Shallotte police made the following arrests and investigated the following incidents last week:

•Police arrested Carrie R. Zercher, 32, of Shallotte, for driving while impaired, driving while license revoked and driving left of center. According to the arrest report, the responding officer saw Zercher’s vehicle driving south on Main Street weaving over the centerline. The officer pulled her over and determined the driver was intoxicated. Her driver’s license was also suspended.

•Obtaining property by false pretenses at Pawn USA; suspect attempted to pawn a rented Xbox 360.

•Larceny from a motor vehicle at Huddle House; victim reported loaning keys to a friend and the theft of $150 in cash, $100 worth of Percocet and a $4 pack of cigarettes.

•Harassment in Wal-Mart parking lot; suspect attempted to run victim off the roadway.

•Missing person on Mulberry Street; subject left his home April 13 and has not returned.

•Larceny of a motor vehicle on Birch Pond Drive; an unknown suspect took victim’s vehicle, a Dodge Caravan valued at $2,500, without permission.

•Lost wallet at Wal-Mart.

•Vandalism/property damage at Hometown Realty, Century 21; unknown suspects spray painted the rear of the building, causing $500 in damage.
