Shallotte crime report

Shallotte Police made the following arrests and investigated the following incidents last week:

•Police arrested Michael Andres Gonzales, 39, of Hillcrest Drive, Supply, and charged him with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny of money at Sharky’s on Ocean Isle Beach. He was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center and placed on a $10,000 secured bond.

•Fraud at Lowe’s Foods; suspects “confused the cashier” into giving them an additional $300, the report states.
