Shallotte teams have won regular-season championships in the Brunswick Football League.
In the Senior Division, the Shallotte Bucs beat the Lockwood Folly Chiefs 27-6 on Saturday and finished 7-0. The Bucs scored 188 points and gave up 30.
The Town Creek Bulldogs finished second (6-1).
The Shallotte Pirates beat the Leland Panthers 6-0 on Saturday and finished 2-5.
In the Junior Division, the Shallotte Bucs beat the Lockwood Folly Chiefs 7-0 in a game Saturday for first place. Each team finished 6-1. Shallotte scored 117 points and gave up 18; Lockwood Folly scored 118 points and gave up 39.
The Shallotte Pirates lost to the Leland Panthers 7-6 and finished 1-6.
BOWL GAMES
The annual bowl games are Saturday at M.H. Rourk Stadium in Shallotte. This is the schedule:
9 a.m.: Little Clam Bowl, Shallotte Pirates vs. Town Creek Bulldogs.
11 a.m.: Clam Bowl, Southport Cougars vs. Leland Panthers.
1 p.m.: Little Scallop Bowl, Leland Panthers vs. Southport Cougars.
3 p.m.: Scallop Bowl, Lockwood Folly Chiefs vs. Shallotte Pirates.
5 p.m.: Little Oyster Bowl, Shallotte Bucs vs. Lockwood Folly Chiefs.
7 p.m.: Oyster Bowl, Shallotte Bucs vs. Town Creek Bulldogs.
Senior Bowl games will be played Nov. 20 at South Brunswick High School. At 4 p.m., the South Juniors will play the West Juniors; at 6 p.m., the South Juniors will play the West Juniors.
