Sheriff to speak in Carolina Shores on Thursday

CAROLINA SHORES—The town is making progress on issues of law enforcement, town officials say.

Town officials recently met with sheriff’s officials, and Brunswick County Sheriff John Ingram is supposed to speak at the town board of commissioners upcoming monthly meeting at 3 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 6.

The sheriff’s office is as committed to “providing the level of service as they’ve always provided to the town,” said town administrator Mike Hargett, speaking at the board’s monthly workshop Monday morning at town hall.
