Sheriff's detectives searching for Ocean Isle Beach man wanted for burglary

Brunswick County Sheriff’s detectives arrested two suspects for a Supply burglary last week, but one suspect is still wanted.

Ray Stanley Waters, 47, of 1776 West Long Acres, Ocean Isle Beach, has been charged with second-degree burglary, breaking and entering and larceny. Waters is wanted for allegedly breaking into a Hewett Road storage facility and stealing an air compressor.

Two other suspects were also charged, and arrested in connection with the break-in.

Kenneth Brogden Bailey III, 31, of Ocean View Drive, Supply, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny and second-degree burglary.

Anthony Wade McKeithan, 28, of Ocean View Drive, Supply, was charged with second-degree burglary, breaking and entering and larceny.

Anyone with information about Waters is asked to contact Brunswick County Sheriff’s Detective Tony Caison at 253-2777.

Other incidents investigated by sheriff’s deputies include:

•Breaking and entering and property damage on Chappell Loop Road in Leland; suspect broke victim’s window and climbed through it.

•Breaking and entering and property damage on Old Maco Road NE in Leland; suspect broke into victim’s garage, damaging the door and the lock.

•Breaking and entering, vandalism and larceny on Compass Point in Leland; suspect entered victim’s trailer and stole tools and a tool box.

•Larceny on Andrews Drive in Supply; suspect stole two pit bulls from victim’s yard.

•Larceny on Beaver Creek Drive; suspect stole tag off victim’s vehicle.

•Property damage on Lake Paula Drive in Supply; suspect fired a weapon at victim’s home, damaging the vinyl siding, the drywall, a shower glass door and the shower.

•Property damage on Sellers Road in Winnabow; suspect drove through victim’s fields, causing ruts.

•Larceny on Pea Landing Road in Ash; suspect took victim’s phone.

•Larceny on Trogon Place in Shallotte; victim’s boyfriend took her credit/debit card from her wallet.

•First-degree burglary and larceny on Heron Point in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect entered victim’s home and stole a laptop computer, medication, a DVD player, credit cards and a watch while the victim was asleep.

•Larceny of a motor vehicle on Jabbertown Road in Supply; suspect stole victim’s vehicle.

•Fire investigation on Tarheel Trail in Leland; a fireplace fire got out of control, causing $80,000 worth of damage to the home.
