Shock steps up to challenge

The Brush Dental Shock 13U girls’ soccer team played up two age divisions and got its third victory of the season. Most of the Shock players are 12 years old were playing against 15- and 16-year-old girls.
“Although greatly outsized, the Shock played with tremendous energy and no fear of their opponent,” coach Mark Giordano said. “The girls played their game, passing well and trusting in each other to perform their individual responsibilities.”
