The Brush Dental Shock (14s) won another soccer match in dominating fashion.
The Shock started fast with Kira Frawley taking the ball quickly down the field and crossing the ball into the center, where Ashley Oakes put it in the back of the net.
“Kira’s speed puts a lot of pressure on any team’s defense,” coach Mark Giordano said, “and when she draws a lot of players to her, she is capable of making a great pass into open teammates.”
Oakes followed with another goal, her second two-goal game of the season.
Logan Schultz scored the Shock’s final goal in a 3-0 shutout.
Cailin Baldwin was goalkeeper and is unscored upon in four games this season. Hope Simmons, Amity Croft, Madeline Jackson, and Robin Wood led the Shock’s defense.
