In the final nine-hole tourney of the conference season, South Brunswick junior Ashley Sloup shot an even-par 36 Oct. 8 on the Players Course at St. James Plantation. The yardage played was about 2,400 yards.
Sloup overcame a double-bogey 5 on the second hole by making a birdie on third and sixth holes. She also made a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole. Her other bogey was on the par-3 seventh.
South won the team title, as Janzen Jones shot a 45 and Jordan Saunders a 50.
West Brunswick sophomore Cameryn Smith tied for second, shooting a 45.
North Brunswick’s top finisher was Jennifer Basker, fourth at 49.
North finished second and West was third.
