South Carolina man accused of trafficking cocaine in Brunswick County

 A South Carolina man is accused of trafficking cocaine in Brunswick County.

Phillip Allen Spikes, 36, of Sumter County, was arrested on Beach Drive in Calabash after a traffic stop Tuesday, July 29.

He was charged with three counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, providing fictitious or false information to a law enforcement officer and a probation violation from Sumter County.

Agents seized 824 grams of cocaine from Spikes’ vehicle, warrants show.

He is incarcerated at the Brunswick County Detention Facility on $1,525,000 bail.
