South falls at Dixon

Dixon defeated visiting South Brunswick 42-34 in a non-conference high school wrestling match last Wednesday.

Both teams took victories in seven weight classes, but Dixon squeezed the maximum number of points out of its wins with six pins and a forfeit. The Cougars had four pins.

Winners for South Brunswick were Jeremy Roundtree at 119 pounds, Charlie Martin at 125, Sammy Roundtree at 130, Paul Ikalowych at 140, Kyle Kackenmeister at 145, David Cochran at 215 and Thomas Mecham at heavyweight.
