South shuts out Trojans in tennis

BOILING SPRING LAKES—The South Brunswick High School boys’ tennis team remained unbeaten in the conference by beating West Brunswick 9-0 March 15.
South is 3-0 in the conference, 8-1 overall after a victory Friday over Ashley.
In singles, Edwin Burnett defeated Jason Watts 6-2, 6-1.
At No. 2, Gabe Azzato defeated Jason Huff 6-3, 7-6 (6) in the longest singles match of the day.
At. No. 3, Caleb Stanley beat Seth Strickland 6-1, 6-1
At No. 4, Noah Pieper defeated Ray King 6-2, 6-0.
At No. 5, Joey Kronenwetter beat Chase Metcalf 6-2, 6-4.
At No. 6, Zack Keesee beat Campbell Alspaugh 6-2, 6-0.
In doubles Azzato and Stanley beat def. Watts and Huff 9-8 (7).
At No. 2, Pieper and Keesee beat Strickland and Justin Davis 8-2.
At. No. 3, Stephen Seeber and Hunter Manis beat Metcalf and Alspaugh 8-4.
