Calabash VFW Dart League
The Calabash VFW Dart League played its weekly match Dec 4. First: Larry Clark, Ken Anderson and Pat Perryman. Second: Jay Valkenberg, Andy Kocsis and Mike Walton. Third: Don Baker, Larry Hagar and Barbara Clark.
On Dec. 11, first were Tom McCormack, Rich Murray and Tom Kelleher. Second: Ken Anderson, Mike Walton and Andy Kocsis. Third: Hugo Kosmel, Jennifer Hirsch and Gene Faessler.
On Dec. 8, first were Hugo Kosmel, Mike Walton and Tom Kelleher. Second were Larry Hagar, Helen McCormack and Andy Kocsis. Third: Wanda Green, Rosie Thomas and Ken Anderson.
Cedric Simmons update
Cedric Simmons did not start and played 18 minutes in Enel Brindisi’s 94-59 victory Dec. 23 in an Italian professional basketball league game.
Simmons scored two points and had five rebounds. Enel Brindisi is 7-5 and tied for fifth in the 16-team league.
