Chad McCumbee  update
Chad McCumbee finished 25th in Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 200 Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
McCumbee started 26th and finished 127 of the 130 laps. He earned $7,605.
Ty Dillon won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, which had 36 drivers in it. He earned $45,885.
Taking advantage of Kyle Busch’s brush with the wall in the late going, pole-sitter Dillon won going away. It was the first victory for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series rookie.
Busch ran second, 3.227 seconds behind the race winner. James Buescher finished third, followed by Parker Kligerman and Aric Almirola. Series leader Timothy Peters came home 13th.

Cedric Simmons update
Cedric Simmons had a team-high eight rebounds in Bulgaria’s 85-71 loss Aug. 30 to Sweden in Group B of the EuroBasket championships’ qualifying round.
Simmons played 30 minutes and scored 12 points.
On Saturday, Simmons started and had a team-high 12 rebounds in a 95-77 victory over Azerbaijan. He scored eight points. He also blocked five shots.
Bulgaria is 3-3 and tied for third with Azerbaijan in the five-team group that includes Germany (5-0), Luxembourg (0-6). Sweden is second (3-2).
