Stabbing at Shallotte residence

On Sunday, Dec. 9, at about 6:22 p.m., deputies responded to a reported stabbing at 1288 Partridge Place in Shallotte.

Keith Wayne Futch, 26, of the same address, had been stabbed in the chest. He was airlifted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where he was treated.

All people involved have been identified and are being interviewed.

No one has been arrested at this time, and the investigation is still under way by detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
