Will Breazeale, who lost the GOP nomination to represent North Carolina’s 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives to Ilario Pantano, said last week he was considering running again—this time as an independent candidate in November’s General Election.
But according to state law, he can’t do either.
Though no Libertarian candidate ran in the primary election, Breazeale could not run as a Libertarian, Greg Bellamy, Brunswick County Elections Director, said.
