North Carolina’s unemployment rate continued to drop in October.
While still larger than the national rate, the state’s unemployment numbers drew closer to national numbers.
Unemployment in North Carolina was down to 8.0 percent while the national average increased to 7.3 percent last month.
The North Carolina Department of Commerce - Labor and Economic Analysis Division, provides the county, state and national numbers on unemployment each month.
