Students from South Brunswick High School are the local winners in the annual Young American Creative Patriotic Art Competition sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7288 in Calabash, Post 8866 in Holden Beach and Post 10400 in Boiling Spring Lakes.
During an award ceremony at the school on May 7, the ladies auxiliaries presented certificates and checks to the following students:
Post 7288: Myles Williams, first place; Emily Coring, second place; and Sarah Hennessey, third place.
