Sunset Beach crime report

Police investigated a rash of car break-ins reported July 29. About 90 percent of the items were recovered following the arrest of two teens who were charged the same day, police said. See a related story on page 16A.

•Money, a global positioning system and a telephone were reported stolen from a vehicle on Canal Street.

•An IBM computer notebook and air card reported stolen from a vehicle on 28th Street were later recovered.

•A GPS and digital camera in a black case reported stolen from a vehicle on 32nd Street were later recovered.
