Sunset Beach police make arrest, investigate incidents

SUNSET BEACH—Michael Ray Gray, 62, of 2240 Waterloo Drive, Ocean Isle Beach, has been charged with two counts of forgery and uttering and two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.

The arrest was the result of a traffic stop, according to Sunset Beach Detective Joe Smith. Warrants were on file from the Burlington Police Department, he said.

Sunset Beach police investigated the following incidents.

•Larceny of a surfboard, reported June 27 on 33rd Street.
