A Tabor City man is accused of beating two people with his fists in Ash on Sunday night, Nov. 3.
Allison Shane Holden, 41, of Will Inman Road, was arrested Monday, Nov. 4, and is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury and assault on a female, according to a Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Holden is accused of punching a man and woman about 11 p.m. Nov. 3 at a home on Ash Little River Road in Ash.
According to an arrest warrant, Holden struck the woman “repeatedly about the face and head.” He did not use any weapon other than his hands, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Emily Flax said.
Holden is incarcerated at the Brunswick County Detention Facility on $251,000 bail.
