A mini farmers’ market will operate at the Brunswick County government complex once a week through Thanksgiving.
Mark Blevins, North Carolina Cooperative Extension director for Brunswick County, proposed that county commissioners allow the market at the complex every Thursday from 11 a.m. to1 p.m.
Blevins described it as “a quick tailgate market at the corner of the walking track.” He said cooperative extension staff will supervise it.
“Several farmers have already expressed interest,” Blevins said.
