To the editor:
Brunswick County officials have added a referendum to the May primary ballot asking voters to approve an increase in the county sales tax from 6.75 percent to 7 percent. The proposed use of revenues generated from this tax would go to school facilities and to beach projects like terminal groins. The referendum should be divided into two referendums. One referendum should be for school projects, and the other one for beach projects.
