Thefts, DWI investigated in Sunset Beach

SUNSET BEACH—Town police reported the following incidents in the past week:

•Breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle were reported on Medcalf Lane.

•Daniel Scott Manning, 25, of Chapel Hill, was arrested and charged June 3 with DWI on Sunset Boulevard.

•A man on Medcalf Lane reported an identity theft June 2.

•A larceny of potted plants and containers from property was reported June 2 at Sloan Realty, 420 Sunset Blvd.
