I have read with interest recent articles by guest columnist John Heidtke about his concerns with America’s life with guns.
His comment about not carrying his gun, even though he has a concealed carry permit, is interesting. One would hope that, as a trained former law enforcement officer, he would have some sense of obligation to use his training and expertise if an occasion arose, such as the shooting in the Colorado theater.
