Three of the elected officials who were deemed delinquent taxpayers by the county have paid their tax debts. Others still owe property taxes.
County commissioner Marty Cooke and his wife, board of education member Catherine Cooke, have paid their taxes in full, according to Brunswick County Revenue Collector Ken Perry.
Bolivia Alderman Warren Knox has paid his full share of owed taxes, Perry said.
