Tri-Beach Cruisers Car Club, a family-oriented, nonprofit organization based in Brunswick County since 1998, recently contributed $1,000 to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation.

Members of the Tri-Beach Cruisers raise money by hosting area car events and shows throughout the year. These car hobbyists support families and charitable organizations through donations from proceeds generated. Since its inception, Tri-Beach Cruisers have contributed more than $65,000 to local charities.

The annual Tri-Beach Cruisers Car Show will be April 23 in the Home Depot parking lot in Shallotte. Registration runs from 8 a.m.-noon with a $20 registration fee for cars. The event is free for spectators. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m.

Tri-Beach Cruisers Car Club is open to all automobile enthusiasts, regardless of age. Club meetings are at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at Planet Fun in Shallotte.

Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation is the official fundraising organization of Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter, a nonprofit agency that provides professional healthcare and comfort to people with life-limiting illness and offers hope, support, and education to patients, families and the community.
