Kelly Tripp and Brian Long, both of Ash, were married July 25 at Friendship Baptist Church in Ash. The Rev. Anthony Clemmons and the Rev. Bob Rea officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Carrie Ann Tripp of Ash. The groom is the son of Terry and Delois Milliken of Ash and Jimmy Long of Shallotte.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore an A-line gown with pleated bodice and beaded waistband with a chapel train and carried a hand-tied bouquet of white Gerber daisies.
The bride’s honor attendants were John Tripp of Ash, brother of the bride, and Candice Fuhrer of Avondale, Az., friend of the bride
Bridesmaids were Alicia Burrage of Misenheimer, friend of the bride; Haylie Long of Ash, cousin of the bride; and Mallory Pearce of Orlando, Fla., cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Alexis Long, niece of the groom.
Ringbearer was Elijah Webb, nephew of the groom.
Guestbook attendant was Samantha Bellamy of Ash, cousin of the bride.
Michael Long of Shallotte, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jimmy Long of Shallotte, father of the groom; Terry Milliken of Ash, stepfather of the groom; and Tyler Long of Shallotte, nephew of the groom.
Ushers were Josh Long of Ash, cousin of the bride, and Dylan Bellamy of Ash, cousin of the bride.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Calabash VFW.
The bride is a graduate of West Brunswick High School in Shallotte and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is employed as a biology teacher at WBHS.
The groom is a graduate of West Brunswick High School in Shallotte and is employed by The Atlantic Group.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will live in Ash.
