Trojans falter in second half

The West Brunswick High School boys basketball team rallied in the first half but was unable to rally in the second half in a 70-52 loss Friday to Jacksonville.

West made eight turnovers and 10 fouls in the first quarter in falling behind 19-6. A 3-pointer by Pat Kamfolt cut the lead to 19-9, but the Cardinals regained a 13-point lead, 25-12, with 5:39 left in the half.

Jacksonville then began making turnovers and committing fouls, and West took advantage in a 10-0 run.
