Trojans finish 12th at state track meet

Four West Brunswick track athletes left the Class 3A state meet with no medals but with plenty of confidence for next season.

The only individual Trojan competitor was Josh Johnson, who finished 12th in the 100-meter dash in 11.44 seconds.

“While Josh did not have his best time at the state meet,” coach Yogi Hickman said, “he has really accomplished a great deal this year. I never thought it would be possible for him to qualify for this meet back in March, when he couldn’t even run without a significant limp.”
