Two arrested for drugs, counterfeit currency

 Two suspects arrested for drugs were in possession of counterfeit currency.


According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office the vehicle Eric James Faucette and Dawn Lea Brown were operating on Wednesday, Dec. 12 was involved in a vehicle stop. The Brunswick County Vice Narcotics Unit found controlled substances and a small amount of counterfeit money during the stop.

Faucette, 31, of 218 Willard Street, Wilmington and Brown, 27, of 5420 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne were both arrested.

Faucette was charged with simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of five plus counterfeit instruments.

Brown was charged with possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Faucette was in possession of Focalin, a prescription drug used to treat ADHD, and 22 counterfeit $10 bills.
