Holden Beach Police officers have arrested two men for larceny of copper.
•Olin Chad Ivey, 23, of 1620 Olin Drive SW in Supply, was charged with larceny of copper, conspiracy to commit larceny, possession of stolen goods and damage to personal property on March 13. In February, Ivey was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, obtaining property by false pretences, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and possession/concealing stolen property.
•Charles R. Abercrombie, 22, of 73 Southport-Supply Road in Southport, was also charged with larceny of copper, conspiracy to commit larceny and damage to personal property. Abercrombie was charged in February with larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering.
Holden Beach Police officers also investigated the following incidents:
•Breaking and entering and larceny of a surfboard March 16 on Ocean Boulevard West; victim reported surfboard was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot. No suspect information was available.
•Breaking and entering and property damage March 17 on High Point Street; unknown suspects used an object to pry open a storage room door. A second door was reportedly kicked in, but nothing was reported stolen.
•Larceny and property damage March 17 on Fayetteville Street; copper piping was stolen from an outdoor shower. No suspect information was available.
