Two arrested, two sought in Southport armed robberies

Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested two people and are looking for two more in several armed robberies that happened earlier this week in Southport.


No one was injured during the crimes.

Eighteen-year-old Jessica Joann Barnes, of East Boiling Spring Lakes Road, and 21-year-old Brittany Nichole Watson, of Jabbertown Road, both of Southport, are each charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-burglary, and two counts of second-degree kidnapping. Each is being held at the Brunswick County Detention Facility on $500,000 bail.

Twenty-one-year-old Timothy Ne’Kos McMillan, of 1005 N. 30thSt., Wilmington, is wanted on similar charges of robbery, burglary, and kidnapping in the crimes, which happened between Monday and Tuesday in the Pineview Drive area, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Emily Flax said.

Detectives also are looking for 20-year-old Tiffany Parish, also of 1005 N. 30thSt., Wilmington, who is a person of interest in the armed robbery investigation and is wanted on an unrelated larceny charge.
