SHALLOTTE—West Brunswick’s Trojans scored four runs in the first inning and liked that feeling so much that they did it again in the fourth.
The big innings led to an 11-2 victory over Winslow Friday night.
“We swung the bats extremely well,” said West coach Mike Alderson. “We hit their No. 1 pitcher.
“We also made some good plays. We played good, solid defense.”
