UPDATEHewett indicted, hearing continued until May

BOLIVIA—Less than one hour after being indicted by a Brunswick County grand jury on four felony counts Monday morning, Ronald Hewett turned himself in to the district attorney’s office.

Around 11:20 a.m., Hewett arrived at the courthouse with his wife Julie, to face three embezzlement indictments and one obstruction of justice indictment, stopping to shake hands along the way.
