West Brunswick was right where it needed to be through three quarters but did not play well down the stretch of its high school boys’ basketball game last Tuesday at White Oak.
The Vikings closed the game on a 17-4 run and defeated the Trojans 54-41 in the Mideastern 3A/4A Conference game.
“We played in spurts, but couldn’t get a good run going,” said West Brunswick coach Brad Lewis.
Darryl Davis scored 13 points and Jacob Legan and Lazon Bady added eight apiece for White Oak (3-5 conference, 5-15 overall).
