Voting straight-ticket in N.C. doesn't include presidential race

North Carolina voters who vote straight-ticket need to know that doesn’t include the presidential race.

Greg Bellamy, director of the Brunswick County Board of Elections, confirmed voters will need to pull the lever for presidential candidates separately.

Earlier this month, Carolina Shores resident Donna Lowry summed up North Carolina’s straight-ticket issue after recently learning about it.

“It’s the dumbest damn thing I’ve ever heard of,” she said.
