Waccamaw branch celebrates grand opening

Waccamaw Bank Board Chairman Alan Thompson and CEO Jim Graham join Waccamaw’s vice president and area executive Dianne McRainey, Brunswick County Sheriff Ronald Hewett, Shallotte Mayor Gerald Long, Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce President Cathy Altman and bank employees to cut the ribbon on the newest Waccamaw branch, the former Coastal Federal bank on Smith Avenue in Shallotte. The bank had a daylong celebration at the new branch. This is the seventh Waccamaw branch in Brunswick County, and Graham said the bank plans to continue to expand in the county.
