WAVES program needs local volunteers

 A 7-year-old girl has shown a sincere interest in music and wants to take piano lessons. 

A 6-year-old boy, who is legally blind, just broke his eyeglasses while playing ball at recess and needs a new pair immediately. 

A child wants to join the Scouts; another wants to play soccer and still another would benefit from therapeutic summer camp.

Unfortunately, many of the youth associated with foster care and child protective services in Brunswick County do not have family resources to meet these kinds of needs.
