Hanna may be downgraded to a tropical storm, but weather experts and local officials are keeping a close eye on the storm.
As of Tuesday morning, Hanna was south of the Bahamas, moving through the ocean with winds up to 70 mph. Randy Thompson, director of Brunswick County Emergency Services (BCES), said the storm seems to be losing momentum, but is still headed for North Carolina’s coast.
