West Angels finish second at state

After losing its first game in a no-hitter, the West Brunswick Angels rallied and finished second in the eight-team Dixie Softball tournament in July for 9- and 10-year-olds.

“It was good competition,” manager David Pridgen said. “All the games were very competitive.”

West qualified for the state tourney by winning a district championship.
