White pitches no-hitter in 11-0 win over Jacksonville

Carly White threw a no-hitter as West Brunswick’s softball team trounced Jacksonville 11-0 last Tuesday.

White, the winning pitcher, and teammate Lucia Bowling each hit a home run, and Bowling also had a triple. Amber Rampero, Courtney Clewis and Emily Gore each doubled for the Lady Trojans.

Bowling and Rampero, who also hit a triple, each had a perfect night in three trips to the plate.

West Brunswick is 8-2 in the Mideastern Conference and 17-3 overall.
