West competes in first swim meet

Junior Meg Fletcher swam the first lap.
Fletcher, senior Kelsey Ross, senior Abbey Long and senior Kennedy Hughes swam the first relay.
Freshman Dustin Ruppart swam the first individual event for the boys’ team. And sophomore Christian Chaney won the first-ever heat.
Those student-athletes and other Trojans entered the record books as the West Brunswick swim team swam in its inaugural meet Dec. 8 in the Dinah E. Gore Aquatics Center.
